The cakes and drinks in this quirky café were delicious! The cakes were kept on plates in old wardrobes and all ranged reasonably from £1-2.50. There was also a range of fusion teas that are served with a thermos to keep refilling your own cup and tea bag. I thought this café between the Grassmarket and the Lothian Road was the perfect place to spend an afternoon. However, it is a little small, so often there is not enough space to accommodate all their eager customers. I would go midday rather than in the late afternoon-when you would probably be fighting for seats with passers-by returning from a long day’s work. Rating 8/10
